Real Roadies Privacy Policy

Effective from 16 October 2026

Real Roadies (the RealRoadies mobile app, the website realroadies.com and the Real Roadies plugin for ChatGPT and other AI assistants) is operated by Stipe Solutions Private Limited, #247, 1st Floor, 4th Main Road, Domlur 2nd Stage, Bengaluru 560071, India ("we", "us").

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who receives it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It applies to all of our services. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

1. Personal data we collect

Account data: the mobile number or email address you sign in with. One-time passwords are passed to our login provider to check and are never stored or logged by us.
Profile data you choose to add: name, nickname, profile photo, about me, gender, date of birth, blood group, current and permanent address, driving licence number and validity, medical condition, emergency contacts, riding skill ratings, pillion preferences and links to your other profiles.
Garage data: details of your vehicles such as make, model, colour, registration, chassis and engine numbers, insurance and PUC validity, photos, and sale or rent listings you publish.
Content and activity: posts, photos, videos, comments, likes, follows, clubs, rides and events you create or join, ride registrations and documents you upload for a ride.
Live location: while you share your location during a group ride, including in the background, so that other riders on that ride can see where you are. Location you attach to a post.
Messages: chats you send to other riders and groups.
Purchases: orders, ride and event bookings, shipping addresses and phone numbers for delivery. Card, UPI and bank details are entered directly with our payment provider; we do not receive them.
Device and technical data: a push-notification token for your device, and, when you use our services, the IP address, time and address of each request in our server logs, and technical details of errors (device, app version, error trace) in our error reports. Error reports do not include the content you send.
Messages you send us through the contact form or by email: your name, email address, phone number and message.

2. Why we use it

To create and secure your account and sign you in.
To show your public profile, posts, rides, clubs and listings to other riders.
To run rides and events: registrations, rider lists, live location sharing and chat with other participants.
To process payments, bookings and deliveries, and to keep the financial records the law requires.
To send notifications you have allowed.
To keep the service safe: preventing abuse and fraud, acting on reports and keeping the service running.
To find and fix errors.
To answer your questions and support requests.

We use each piece of data only for these purposes. Optional profile fields are used only to show them to you, and to others where this policy says so.

3. What other riders and the public can see

Your nickname, name, profile photo, about me, riding skills, ride summary, followers and the bikes in your garage (make, model and colour) are public, as are your posts, the rides and events you publish and the bikes you list for sale or rent with their price.

Your mobile number, email address, addresses, date of birth, driving licence, medical condition, emergency contacts and vehicle registration, chassis and engine numbers are never shown to other users. The only exception is a contact number you choose to put on a ride or event you organise.

Your live location is visible only to riders on the same ride, and only while you share it.

4. Real Roadies in ChatGPT and other AI assistants

Our plugin lets AI assistants such as ChatGPT search public Real Roadies listings: rides, events, clubs, public rider profiles and bikes for sale or rent. It is read-only and needs no account. It only returns information that is already public on realroadies.com, and never returns phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, vehicle registration numbers or internal account identifiers.

When you use the plugin, the assistant sends us your search words or the item you asked about. We use them only to answer that request. We do not store them, we do not receive your name or account with the assistant, and we cannot link the request to you. Our server logs record the request time, address and IP address (normally the assistant provider's server) and are deleted after 30 days.

Your conversation with the assistant is handled by its provider under its own privacy policy, for example OpenAI's privacy policy for ChatGPT.

5. Who receives your data

We share personal data only with service providers that process it for us under contract, only for the purposes above:

Auth0 (Okta): sign-in and one-time passwords.
DigitalOcean: hosting of our servers, database and cache.
Cloudflare: storage and delivery of photos, videos and documents.
Razorpay: payments.
Sentry: error reports.
Google: push notifications (Firebase), maps and Google Play services in the app, and visitor statistics on our website (Google Analytics).
Mapbox: maps and navigation in the app.

We also disclose data when the law requires it, for example to comply with a court order, or to protect the safety of riders. Some of these providers store data outside India; they are bound to protect it to the standard of this policy.

6. How long we keep it

Account, profile, garage, content and messages: while your account is active.
When you delete your account, sign-in is blocked and your profile is hidden immediately. Within 30 days we erase your profile data, photos, videos, garage, posts, comments, likes, follows, addresses and chat account, and delete your sign-in record. Rides you organised stay for the riders who joined them, without your contact number. Messages already delivered to other people may remain visible in their conversations.
Payment, order and booking records: for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, even after account deletion.
Reports of abuse involving you: for as long as needed to keep the service safe.
Live ride location: kept only in temporary memory and deleted 5 minutes after the last update. It is never saved to our database.
Server logs: 30 days. Error reports: 90 days.
Contact-form and support messages: up to 2 years.

7. Your choices and rights

View and edit your profile at any time in the app. All profile fields beyond your sign-in mobile number or email are optional.
Turn location sharing and notifications on or off in the app or in your phone's settings.
Delete your account from the app, or by emailing info@realroadies.com from your registered email address or with your registered mobile number.
Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to erase it, by emailing info@realroadies.com. We reply within 30 days.
Withdraw consent you have given at any time; this does not affect processing that already took place.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Age

Real Roadies is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has given us personal data, email info@realroadies.com and we will delete it.

9. Cookies

The app does not use cookies. Our website uses Google Analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the website still works.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to it is limited to the people who need it to run the service, and our providers protect it to industry standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Links to other sites

Real Roadies may link to other websites. We do not control them; read their privacy policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We will post any change on this page with a new effective date, and tell you in the app about important changes.
